The world’s largest commercial jet, operated by Emirates has been found to be struggling and wobbling due to wind during its attempt to land near the Manchester Airport.

It has been found that as the massive Emirates A380 has been trying to descend above the houses near the Manchester Airport, it has been witnessed to rock sideways because of strong wind. The pilot of the Emirates flight has managed to avert any disaster by straitening the jet later.

According to Steven Draper of the British Airline Pilots’ Association, landing of a flight should not be left to be handled by technology alone.

He has also added, “Landing in strong cross-winds or turbulence goes beyond the capabilities of the aeroplane’s automatic pilot. A pilot should be alert and free from fatigue when landing, and be given the opportunity to develop excellent handling skills.”

According to the authorities of Airbus, the A380 jet has the capacity to carry a maximum weight of 575 tonnes. The witnesses have stated that the flight has appeared to be carrying a weight of more than its capacity as it wobbled in the air before the landing.
