Soori Bali, designed and owned by renowned architect Soo K. Chan, joins Balcony’s portfolio

Balcony has started representing Soori Bali, a seaside resort designed and owned by renowned architect Soo K. Chan, set between a black sand volcanic beach, towering Mount Batukaru and green and gold rice terraces.

Soori Bali marks the emergence of a new luxury lifestyle brand from one of Asia’s foremost architects. Founder of Singapore-based SCDA Architects, Soo is opening the new Soori High Line in Chelsea, New York, soon. He’s got a hotel in Japan on the drawing board, and new products coming from fashion to furnishings. Kind of like what Jaya Ibrahim started to do before his untimely death.

There are some cool things happening at Soori Bali, including a 96-hour ‘Blackout’ package, with its theme inspired by the black diamond volcanic sand coastline. It starts with a helicopter ride from Bali’s airport and includes (but is not limited to) 16 spa treatments over four days, including a Black Reflection involving caviar sprinkled with vodka, and dinners on a moonlit private beach.

Soori Bali boasts the Soori Estate, arguably among the world’s top villas.

Totaling a palatial 5,250 square metres, the 10-room Soori Estate is the largest villa on hotel grounds on Bali. It comes with its own infinity pool, spacious gym, spa, full kitchen and helicopter pad, as well as a chauffeur-driven car around the clock and private butler.
