Considerate Hoteliers launches Lunch & Learn – a CSR taster session

Considerate Hoteliers, corporate social responsibility (CSR) specialists for the hospitality industry, has launched Lunch & Learn, a new taster training programme aimed at inspiring greater adoption of CSR initiatives within the hospitality sector.
These new sessions will be held initially for hotels and other hospitality businesses across London, intending to demystify the whole subject of CSR. The Considerate Hoteliers team will provide practical steps and an approach that gets hotel staff on-track towards achieving greater environmental and social responsibility while increasing value for their customers.
The 75-minute sessions can be booked by individual businesses at a cost of £495 for up to 20 participants.
Catherine Baroun, account and relationship director for Considerate Hoteliers explains more: “Many hospitality businesses will have dabbled with various aspects of CSR such as reducing waste or resources, or embarking on volunteer projects.
“However many still struggle when it comes to keeping the CSR momentum going without distracting staff from other priorities and eating into the bottom line.
“Climate change, social justice and the fact that the Millennial generation is far more likely to seek out sustainable brands, are all leading to CSR moving higher up the boardroom agenda. The hospitality industry cannot ignore this, particularly considering the growing requirement for sustainability data to be submitted in transient corporate and MICE RFPs.
“Hospitality staff are busy people which is why we’ve designed the sessions to be a rapid walk-through of the subject and provide valuable top tips that will act as a catalyst for change.”
