Mama Shelter Belgrade is located right in the heart of the city, along Ulica Kneza Mihaila – Prince Michael Street – the iconic pedestrian thoroughfare of the Serbian capital.
With cutting-edge design elements specially crafted by Jalil Amor, the décor pays homage to the capital’s Ottoman history with richly women kilim rugs on the floors and a palate of matte colors, vintage prints, and welcoming sofas that rework the eastern bloc aesthetic. The 125 guest rooms are sanctuaries with the comforts of home coupled with all the needs of digital modernity, with spacious king beds and high speed Wi-Fi.
Outside of the rooms, there is plenty of area set aside for collaboration and meetings - guests have space to gather to create or simply hang out. Many will find themselves atop the epic 5,000 square-foot terrace – complete with foosball and tennis tables – that has exceptional views of The White City’s ancient citadels and concrete towers. There, guests will enjoy MAMA’s hospitality, including homemade sorbets and ice creams to wood-fired pizzas. And whether the night is just beginning or finishing, the lounge is open for travelers and locals to find dance to live music and DJ, cool drinks and warm conversation.
